Blacksmith Downloads

I cannot access the blacksmith window to use her services, because i cannot download the blacksmith files. Is there anyway at all to use the services of the blacksmith without having to download anything from the client. (Wont even let me download the versions from the client).

Sorry, why are you downloading things from the blacksmith?

The blacksmith list is automatically updated every time you talk to the blacksmith so it "downloads" the list.

It takes me a fraction of a second, if it even downloads stuff for me.

It only downloads once because the old version you download doesn't have some of the new stuff/item fixes.

Sounds like a computer preformance problem to me.  Bad connection or bad PC.  But, feck, what do I know?

You may have security software that either stops the download or stops it from saving the file.
Or if you're running the game from a read-only device like a cd-rom, this will also happen.

i think it is because of some sorta security device, is there anyway to download any file like what i had to do with updating the versions?
