concept art is awesome, but it doesn't really do justice to what the game may eventually be, good or bad. I mean look at this badass HL2 concept art.
And if you ever listen to the dev commentary, you can really tell that they have all these lofty ideas for a game but then it just gets boiled down sooo much to become more feasible for a game.
