Oh yeah, I found that pressing Ctrl and Shift repeatedly can make your dismounted character crawl while on his/her stomach. Helps when you gotta make that final distance to the end, vehicle or not.

Also, if some of you guys want a challenge but also want to have loads of fun at the same time play the level "Outrun the meteor"
It's really hard but the deaths are so satisfying and funny you don't even mind losing.
