You say Demo like it is 1 person. I dont play it by standing around with sticky bombs everywhere. I traded my sticky launcher for the targe.

I order my team to clear out the enemy side of the sewers and I ask a few to switch to engis and then we build Turrets,Exits,Despencers then the rest of us go on the offensive

Demoman is under the defensive class selection, but when he uses the targe he is no longer defensive, which by logic makes a clone of him under offense, making him the 10th class.

You can defend and still be on offense by simply pushing up to the front lines to attack an enemy and control a choke point with your targe which you are still defending it. Although it is also considered offense in my eyes because you are supporting and fighting with the offensive classes. I personally like the Demoman because of his flexibility.
