| Am I the only one that doesn't like the idea of 3D for console games? |

| Hugums:
I have several problems with the idea: Getting firmware upgrade which can cost money/ time/ energy/ possible loss of data Purchasing a new 5,000-8,000 dollar 3D TV even though i just got a brand new LCD Purchasing the games themselves which are about 10-30 dollars more than a standard game Wearing the 3D glasses which have their own sub problems: I can't wear them over my regular glasses They look ridiculous would be annoying to wear every time you want to play or even watch TV They cost 100 dollars or more for each pair Would damage eyes Limited support now but will soon be pretty much necessary for full experience Anyone else not like the idea? |
| Jsk2003:
It's basically just a new feature for graphics. Think of it as HDR/Anti-aliasing/High quality. If your tv/pc can't handle it, then it just won't use it. I'm sure they will have 3D being optional. |

3D is the dumbest gimmick for movies, EVER. For games, I haven't experienced mowing down peds in GTA in 3D, so I'll wait and see. |

A 3D image can be projected without the necessity of glasses, to my understanding. That eliminates about half of your complaints. |
