Am I the only one that doesn't like the idea of 3D for console games?
Harm94:
It's basically marketing scheme to make you buy overpriced stuff.
CC:
I don't like the idea of 3D gaming too much on consoles.
I will however enjoy the 3DS, and then turn down the 3d when it starts to hurt my eyes, but still enjoy the near Gamecube graphics while playing Kid Icarus. c:
Block Buster:
I don't know if it's something about my eyesight issues or something but when I go and watch 3D movies at my local movie place I can't really tell a diffrence.
JD:
I wonder what it would be like to use FL Studio or a standard program in 3D
Like, a generated 3D.

I agree this is dumb. The only reason that these companies are doing it is because they need to keep up with the PC, and can't afford to wait until they decide to dish out a new console. Blame the company, not the concept.

It only costs around 600$ for an Nvidia Stereoscopic enabled montitor. Again, the new TVs are high in price because they're so new, and the console companies don't give 2 stuffs about how much your wallet hurts.

This sounds like a rumor. Source please?

I GUARANTEE there will be support for you in the near future that won't cost anything extra. It's not typical for companies to charge more to the physically handicapped.

Only because they're just coming out, and you aren't used to them. You're wearing them to enjoy a game more, not to win a fashion contest.
--- Quote from: Hugums on June 17, 2010, 10:29:23 PM ---would be annoying to wear every time you want to play or even watch TV

Once again, you'd just get used to it with time. Turning on the TV is pretty annoying too, but you still do it.
--- Quote from: Hugums on June 17, 2010, 10:29:23 PM ---They cost 100 dollars or more for each pair

That's also got to be a load of crap. I'm almost absolutely certain that the ones at the theaters would work equally well as the standard console/tv counterparts. If I'm wrong, please correct me.

Uhh, 3D doesn't damage your eyes. Your eyes getting sore is because you blink less since you pay more attention. If you actually did it regularly, you would get used to it and would blink at a normal rate again.

I don't really understand what you mean here.
