In my opinion it's best to get a warrior, black mage, white mage, and theif. A well balanced team is always good.
Don't attempt any of the extra dungeons (which appear after one of the four elemental bosses are beat) until you re a higher level, as some of the battle in those are very tough.
Anyway, I got this rod that lets you cast flare unlimited times in that game and beat the final boss at all level 80s. :D

Same team as I suggested, haha.
Xia The Ninja:
I didn't notice lol.
Anyway Valen, make sure you try and beat the water extra dungeon, halfway or so through it you get a rod that lets you cast flare infinitely.

Awesome ;D
I'm going with a slightly altered team instead of a thief I am using a Monk because I use haste on him and he hits really hard. I just opened the cannal by giving that gnome drawf guy some nitro powder.
Xia The Ninja:
Oh god I just remembered how much the earth dungeon sucked. :c
Imagine a maze composed of many rooms EXACTLY identical to one another... I think you go to that after making the cbrown town, been a while since I played.
Haha I just remembered there's beer that lets you breathe underwater in this game...
