And guys. The point of JVS doors is to have an easily controlled, smoothly animated placeable door, which can be manipulated conveniently with content events. I could very well make an elevator door out of bricks, but it wouldn't look as good and would be much more complicated to manage. I wish sometimes people would stop putting down suggestions that are actually reasonable and good.
Look at the second of the two pictures above. You can build that out of bricks. It looks good. NOW MAKE IT SLIDE.
Or, build it so that you can add a severely limited sliding "animation". Now you have four 1x1x5s. stuff.
