He was hit by a car in his balloon and everyone though he was officially dead but they don't know the true story.

He was really revived on his way to the hospital in the ambulance. The back door flew open he slid out in his gurney, fell down a manhole and has been living as a sewer rat ever since with his alienware computer he found in an aligator's stomach.
