GTA IV Help

Whenever I try to start the autorun on GTA IV, a console window comes up for second, then dissapears, and the process ends. I can't figure out what's wrong with it. I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate, but I've tried it in every compatibility mode. Any suggestions?

try starting it using the base .exe

Where's that located on the disk?

it should be something like gta4.exe
autorun.exe should be next to it
go inside the folder by going into My computer>Right click disc>Explore
