I need a good link for a tutorial on Blender!

Okay, so I am trying to make a weapon, but it seems I do not know how. First of all, do you build the weapon with meshes? I needz help. A tutorial or a link to a good WEAPON modeling tutorial would be highly appreciated.  :cookieMonster:
