| Fort Wars, what to avoid. |

I've seen more and more fort war servers lately. I'm not saying the idea sucks, it's the server. Reasons: * Admins love to abuse. * Bases are usually spam, events, and weapons. * Almost all have VCE turned off. * Have ridiculous rules and don't know how to turn add-ons off. * Some choose endless maps to have it on, therefore no actual "war" is going on. I mean, any version of slate sucks. * Builder rules. 'Nuff said.I'm tempted to host my own fort wars server to show people what an actual fort war is like. |

When I make it will probably be dedicated, so I, the admin probably won't even be there, or if I am, I'll be building, I'll turn off a lot of the abusive events such as radiusimpulse. Uploading files to my VPS takes a while, so I try to keep my add-ons to a minimum anyhow. And will probably use a map that everyone is familiar with, such as slope. I think my server won't be anything like what you said, correct me if I'm wrong. |
