Author Topic: Blockland not working  (Read 263 times)

I am trying to install blockland on my friends netbook because he really likes it and is considering buying a key.
I know that netbooks, of course, are not powerful machines. I do, however, think that there shouldn't be a problem on low settings.

When I start up blockland it states that I need to update my  drivers. They are updated to the newest set so I don't think that that is the problem. So I am assuming that is in an error from the gpu.

Here are the specs.

Windows XP home
Intel Atom @ 1.33ghz
1gb of RAM (Not sure if it is DDR or DDR2)
Intel GMA 500

The GMA 500 is pretty stuffty but I still think that it should be able to play blockland.

Any help?

Did you update the graphics drivers?
How much display memory does it have?
Does the console appear? If so, does something appear wrong in it?

Did you update the graphics drivers? - Yes.
How much display memory does it have? - It says 8 mb but I am pretty sure that that can't be right.
Does the console appear? If so, does something appear wrong in it? Yes. Nothing seems too out of the ordinary.

Err... noedit

Wikipedia says that it has 128mb of memory (The GPU of course).
