Oh yeah, just because it crits makes it so much better.
It's a crutch. You shouldn't have to rely on extra stats to kill people.

I didn't say I was relying on the crit hits.
It's just something that helps.
It's a better ranged weapon than the shotgun.
And besides, if I wanted to go Shotgunning I'd go Enigneer since it's proven that the Pyro's shotgun is the slowest.
