Guys, I have spent an hour using this equation to solve this

Lies=3000

3000 - (2000 of the possibility, or 4000) =-1000

You see, -1000 is now going to act as n.

N-V(random variable)=6000

To find the answer divide both sides by -1000, so V= -6. Now let's go back, lets use N, and multiply it by V. But instead we will use N as a negative number.

-1000 x -6 = 6000

And lets add V and N as positive numbers, which makes it 1006. Now for the final part of the equation.

6000-1006=5997.

The answer is 5997 because only a ridiculous mathimatical formula can get to it.
