The driving in SR/2 is fine. It's not realistic at all, but that's not the point. The responsiveness of the vehicles makes them drivable, and I can navigate the city without crashing, at full speed, while being pursued. APB's vehicle physics are horrendous. There is literally a 1-2 second delay in steering, and you have virtually no control anyway, so it doesn't matter. On the subject of "sprinting to destination", you're not getting what I'm saying. You're on a time limit and the objective is halfway across the goddamn city, and sprinting is a more efficient means of transport than a vehicle. The gameplay may look neat, but you'll be bored/fed-up with APB in under a week. It's simply not worth the money. ARC is right, great idea, very poor execution. |
