The thing here is that rct3.dat is either one of two things I'm guessing.

An installation file that can't really be distributed without it technically being piracy.

Bump. also i didnt pirate this game. it got some dust on the shelfs. and we cleaned it and found out it didnt work anymore. just recently finding out that rct3.dat stopped working.

Make sure your computer is working before you try and install things like this. It might help.

naw. if i get a third bsod im scanning this computer. i tried to install rct3 on a wiped computer. and it doesnt work. so i know its not a virus.

Looking around Google; I'd say it's probably a faulty disc.
Nothing you can do to fix that except buy a new CD.
