Yeah, the 50's suck because it had innocent music and not all this metal and screaming stuff, or rap stuff that talks about guns and love.

It also sucks because people didn't dress like loving dumbasses with their pants hanging around their ankles, and men didn't wear black makeup and dress like women and call themselves "emos".

Also, another reason it sucks was because teenagers were relatively docile and obedient, the same for children.

Yeah, the 50's suck. I'd rather have the degregaded morals of today's society and it's high crime rate and loving friend ass teenagers and their stuffty excuses of a clique over good-old fashioned proper morals any day.
True that, sister. Despite the racial discrimination at the time, which really had faded in certain areas, nothing was stirring. People were happy. It was a simpler time.

The 50's were boring.  You have described skaters and emos for some reason.  I don't dress like that, and I hate those kids.  I find music to be very important, and the 50's had really stuffty rock.
I agree on the music part partially. I'm more into the Swing Era myself, and the lighter musics prior to the Retro-phase. But the rock in the 50s wasn't that bad. It was lighter, not as heavy as it was in the years following.

I could be a richard and pick apart your grammar, but I wont.

Anyway, this is completely irrelevant from my original post, and you are just trying to attack me because you have no rebuttal.  I won't be bothered by you insulting My Chemical Romance.

First of all, I'd like to thank you for not picking at my lack of punctuation. You're a saint.
Also, I'm not insulting you because you like a band, I'm insulting you for making dumb generalizations about me.

Which you apparently can't see.

No, oh no. The 50's had the real rock. The birth of rock. What you call music is some stuffty rehash of rock with some punk ass cigarettes in dark clothing screaming into a microphone.

You call the 50's boring because they're what society today should be. Calm. Pleasant. Non-chaotic. You should be able to tell your child something without them screaming at you. You should not hear your child curing under the age of 18. There were morals back then about how to actually act. People didn't even have to lock their doors in the 50's. Today is a pathetic excuse of a society. It has long since collapsed.

You are correct, dusty. When you said

curing
, didn't you mean "Cursing"? I do not believe profanity is that bad, unless you use it in a bad way. If you accidentally stub your toe, it isn't that bad to yell "forget!", but if you tell someone "forget YOU!", it is horrible. Understand?

Yes. I'd have fixed it but there's no editing in Drama.

Yeah. Well, nice talking typing with ya.

Ok Spock (I don't think I will ever refer to you as Moybus) your avatar is a troll.

The 50's was the birth of rock, but it has evolved.  For the better.

I understand what you are getting at, and I don't understand how you don't feel rebellious at all.  Who wants to be told what to do?  I'm not saying have a bitch fit when your parents tell you to take out the trash, but to make a stand for yourself and show that you can be independent.

You are also a bit hypocritical for saying that children shouldn't curse, because you had a very angry post filled with swears not 10 minutes ago.

Gorillaz isn't rock

I honestly hate songs from the birth of rock. Elvis is bad in my opinion.
all of the bands I listen to are from the 80's to 2000 range.

I'm not a child. I'm also not swearing in front of my parents or any other minors, instead peers who always hear this day-to-day.

Evolved for the better? Don't kid yourself. It's that time again children!

Let's brown townyze these songs.

1950's-http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FmJ1AqtTuyo

Light, easy, bubblegum-y. Invokes a feeling of happiness and pleasantry.
Main idea is to convey a feeling of love between 2 people.

2006-http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j6SuAm7mxpA
Dark. Depressing. Heavy. Discomforting.
Main themes involve burning in hell, haunting, and murder.

It's clear which one is better oriented for a pleasant society.
My parents have every god damned right to tell me what to do. I have duties around the house. Taking out the garbage is a simple chore. Chores are also very common and there's nothing wrong with them. No need to make smart remarks in the event your parents make a request you can easily do. You'll lose like, what, 5 minutes? What were you going to do that was so critical?
