I don't think size matters. (hue)
It's the number of different concepts the code spans.
If Kalphiter can make that gui he showed us, even if it's not as good as RTB's, and if he can do basic networking, like any chat would require, and he can handle blockland's server/client message system, as he did in his mining mod, etc. he should have all the required knowledge to make a mod.
Weather he has the attention span to finish (or start, huehuehue) it is something I would not be able to judge.

I don't think he should be stopping at "basic" and "not as good as RTB's" when he sets his goals at rendering RTB obsolete and stealing the userbase.

Like stated before, this is going to be horrid because it's main development (If it is even going to be) is simply fueled by grudge and revenge. Ephi worked on RTB. He didn't half-ass steal everything from something else and be un-original. Why would someone want to use BC when RTB is obviously better? Kalphiter is doing the whole ''I'm going to copy yours and add more stuff to it, therefore making it better and Ephi will then suffer'' charades.
