I'm going to go with that he doesn't know what a plot really is, nor understands the actual plotline.

This. Also in their interview, I like how they said ''Call of Duty is very polular and we plan to bla bla bla something about keeping it that way/ make it better'' I don't think they understand that it's not popular because of them, It's popular because IW made Mw and Mw2.
