The 5770 is a good buy for the price. Look around to see which brands offer the best price or extra features (free game, non-stock cooler, factory overclock).

The newer Nvidia cards either start with GS, GT, GTS, or GTX and end with either three or four numbers. ATI cards start with HD, followed usually by four numbers.
