Ever since the addition of the Grand Exchange, the economy has gone to heck though. The economy used to be entirely based upon what players valued their items at, and the only open market was the general store. :) But back then, most people got items themselves. Now you can just get on the GE and sell all your useless crap and buy stuff you want. :( |

i gave up the game last year. i tried playing it with a friend again and it was ok, until i realized that they were pushing membership like a richard up a persian prostitute's ass. they also kind of screwed up quests, they used to be so interesting and enveloping. new quests seem uninspired and just feel like grinding. |
