--- Quote from: Bisjac on October 29, 2011, 11:33:51 PM ---the point of announcing the nuking of bots beforehand, is so they can track large amounts of money being moved in preparation. double the cleanup. --- End quote --- Jagex are at least smart enough to take advantage of human stupidity like this. Also; that golden scythe, one of the rarest items in the game. And it's still untradeable. Way to go |

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=VZHalHeWer8#! * 9000 botting accounts are being banned per minute. * A total 7.7 million botting accounts will be banned by Sunday. * 1.5 million accounts were banned last Tuesday. * There are 750,000 accounts created per month from China. * 200,000 botting accounts were being created per day before Tuesday. * 60% of RuneScape players online on Tuesday (and before then) were bots. * A small percentage of genuine players were also banned. * Only 2% of the bots were clicker-bots rather than the reflection type bots. * Jagex believe their Tuesday anti-botting update will work for a "significant period of time" but not forever. * Jagex agree that they don't communicate with the players as well. They hope to improve. * Last fact: Some really old geezers play RuneScape. |
