Back when people played the loving game for a little thing called FUN we used to enjoy things like random events, that used to add some flair to the game. Now, I can see that it's an inconvenience for you soulless robots who just want to see a number go up after a solid ten hours of grinding so you can get your super sword, I mean really, god forbid you do anything, you know, exciting.
This is the reason runescape's going down the stuffter, they are getting raped by investors and the players are too complacent to do anything about it. I said something and I got banned, right along with all the other people who were ballsy enough to say something. Their entire system is forgeted up, everyone from player mods, to forum mods, to Jmods.

Uhhhhh why do you instantly assume every person who doesn't like randoms is a skiller/whatever. I've played runescape since 04, until probably a year ago my guy was still combat level 58. The only reason I play this game is for fun, and I'm sure most of the others here do too. Have you ever heard of raising your skill levels to do quests or whatever else we want to do? Excuse me for having an opinion on something I play and enjoy. Next time don't jump to conclusions.

i call bullstuff on the since '04, level 58 stuff, if you're playing any of the game at all you would have to be higher than that just to survive most quests.

No, really. I didn't do most of the higher quests. I've played this game since I was 7/8, and that I know for a fact.
