This is good provided you don't need to gather raw materials for skills. Unfortunately about half the skills in the game are gathering raw materials.
Still, I admit that bots do help out a lot for Herblore, Fletching, Smithing and so on. Training Smithing by superheating gold after BXPW was the cheapest it's been in ages.

Well, I'm mainly talking about things like food, yew logs, ect. Flax is almost particularly a bot market, same with back when i used to collect the stuff. We used to get inventories of flax by killing off bots that used color to see flax.

I merched yew logs because of the constant supply and demand(which btw are usually chopped and sold by bots).

Well, the price fluctuates, like anything else. Theoretically you can buy a million needles and sell when the needle price goes up 1 Gp.

Actually, no. The needle is 1gp-1gp and it would still be 1gp because you( a single person) would only buy 1 "batch" of 1 million needles so it isn't really a constant and it wouldn't be affected.

If you managed to purchase a batch of 1 million needles for 2gp you would most likely raise the market price because of that volume taking a while to purchase due to the exchange limits which would in turn mean the offer is present for a long time (I think it's 2500 per hour (10k per 4 hours), so 2.38 weeks).

This never actually happens though, and most people just mass-buy needles from players and sell them at a higher price to other players.

Wtf no, buying items is like buying a share. Buying a million needles is like buying a million shares in needle co. When the share price goes up, you sell. If the price goes up you make a million Gp. The price can't go lower than 1 Gp, so you can't lose money.

Maybe someone just loves to collect needles. Or they want to get PVP'd by someone while holding a million needles so the person that killed them will be like what the forget is up with these needles.

Also, i did the combat tutorial on the open Combat Beta now.
Pretty neat stuff with the hotbar and stuff.
Not too complicated, works pretty well.
Also, i read you can dual wield now?
Damn, i will have to consider that, however i think i rather want my (Zamorak) Kiteshield. :X
