Re-install the game, update it straight to V2.2.1 then to 2.3.0
Has anyone actually started playing the 'story' thing?

Story thing? You mean the night time drag races? That's the only way to make a decent amount of money. The only thing I haven't finished is the ROC. I need to get money, and can only do 1 race, for 9k every night.

This happened to me, just update straight to 2.3 and it should work.
