Medieval Weapons pack

My "axe" looks like it's from blockland. I'm not trying to go 100% medieval here, just to let you know.

They are a little bland and I think from the pictures you have lighting issues.

How can I tell? They seem Ok :o
They don't always stay the same color for whatever angle they are (normally) and the coloring seems OK.
Thorax:
The Pickaxe is a bit weird. The metal part shouldn't be stuck through the handle like a nail. It should wrap around the handle.

Models are a good attempt though.
