I have properly reviewed the build and i read that you wanted to make it modern. You could try making it more like the london suspension bridge, it has more curves, glass, held up by wires, for example. If you go into the more detailed less blocky style build and work more towards that kind of build style, that may be a better chance. Its not often we accept blocky builds no matter the quantity.
