| Portal: "Frequency out of range" |

Yeah, whenever I try to play portal, it just says that on the monitor. It's been like this since like the day after I bought it when I fiddled with the resolution. I see that in the Blockland FAQ that you just have to change to windowed display with Alt-Enter, is there some sort of key combination for Portal as well? |
| General Nick:
Your problem: Portal is set to a resolution for some reason that your monitor cannot support. Which is odd because quite frankly it defaults to 1024x768 I think. |

http://lmgtfy.com/?q=portal+frequency+out+of+range Because that was really hard. I read on one of the links it might have something to do with your refresh rate. |

| Chrono:
It's a combination of resolution and refresh rate that your monitor cannot handle. If it can go in windowed mode, do alt+enter when it says "frequency out of range", and change the settings that way. |
