I have two pocketknives and have never cut myself accidentally or purposely. Also dolls that could have been donated are terrible things to practice on. Soap is pretty good.

I have a strange attachment to many different materials because of sentimental association. Stuffed animals are very important to me. Plus, anything, really, could go to better use than being stabbed. If he saves them, it's alright. They are his. But making something another child could find hope within into trash is something completely different.

That's not to say he is a bad person, he seems like a very nice boy. Just how he worded it came off a bit wrong.
