So I just discovered that before people knew radiation was dangerous, it was marketed as a cure-all medicine.

It worked, but every bullet fired out of it fractured massively and the barrel got hot really quickly. They tried that on some show with a Barret .50 Cal though, and it pretty much just shot the end off like a boomerang from hell. It was pretty legit.
