I hope I don't have to state the obvious by saying "DO NOT GIVE HIM MONEY IN RETURN FOR YOUR ACCOUNTS" but I'm going to anyway given that we're in this situation in the first place.
I've notified Badspot and he'll deactivate the key/forum account. If you're lucky he'll sort you out with a new key but given that it was entirely your fault, I wouldn't bet on it.
