My opinions

if you already have an itouch/iphone:  Totally useless unless your an old person and seriously need bigger buttons

if you don't already have an itouch/iphone: pretty cool depending on what you want

I don't have any itouch or anything like that so if I got an ipad I'd be pretty happy, I think its nicer for what I'd use it for (Movies, internet and plants vs zombies :3)

Well an ipod touch already has a fast processor so I'd classify an Ipad as a desktop with that speed on it's cpu also by it's size. It's in between a laptop and ipod touch basicly. Best of both worlds right? No...

One of my teachers uses an iPad as it acts like a notebook for all of his lessons but also lets him look up Youtube videos and show them on the projectors from it for examples. Its quite loving awesome.
