You hold a MP40 by the clip to prevent the recoil from killing your accuracy, and where else would you place your hands on a gun with no extra space for hand placement. Thompson M1 isn't held by the clip because there is a whole section to place your hand on, like i said to keep that recoil off your accuracy. |
