Thats the texure. And it glows only in blender.

Not really. Take bushido's weapons for example. They are good because they have depth and one consistent theme to them. Your weapons are horribly wonky and uneven - don't blame blockland for that.

Yes, hands do add unnecessary polygons to a model. Even if you removed hands your models would be as I described before. Wonky, inconsistent and ugly.
