Author Topic: I can't get blockland!  (Read 8570 times)

If you want to know...

I am 15 years of age.  Now anymore questions?

Haha.  I thought people would not care about my age so I lied.  I am not that old.  If you ask CUCUMBER!, he will say what I am going to post now.  I am 13, no younger, no older, I just find building extremely entertaining!  I just thought asking for my age would not matter.

Maybe you should talk about how Blockland is a good investment it is as a game. It really is... I got the game about 3 years ago. I'm on and off with the game due to how busy I am. Its still fun! :D
But really, just pay $20 and boom no more "annoying" your parents. You're happy and your parents are happy. Just keep being responsible.

I don't know.

Does anybody have an extra Blockland key?

How do you know that your money was stolen from college kids, in the mail system? You can't know what happens after it leaves the mail box. If they stole it from your mail box, then wait for the mail man to come by, and give it directly.

I was playing outside with some friends and a small white sedan pulled up, opened the mailbox, and what looked like they took the letters inside and drove off laughing.  I also knew they took the money because after some time I contacted customer service and they said they received nothing from me.

I was 3 years younger than you when I got BL. I didn't have good grades and I still got it.
All I did was ask politely

I was too. I still am ten. But it was hard. I was really afraid I would go too far or something. I still am afraid of that. I don't know why. My mom didn't have to go through any videos or anything. I just told her I had 16$ made, I couldn't get any money at that moment, and she helped pay the rest. I'm still glad she did. I was still aware that she might just uninstall it (If she knew how) if I was too addicted to it. I am a bit addicted to it, but I think I'm more on Facebook more than Blockland :s

I just am hoping you can get it.

Show your parents blockland demo, i bet they'd say yes because you can show them that you can build amazing things on this game.

I got this game when i was 12, and my parents almost didn't give it to me until i showed them the demo version. I'm 14 now and i still enjoy this game. So tell your parents that this game wont be a waste of money because you'll still like it when you get older. (I don't know if ill still like it when I'm like 16 or something.)

I think you should also show them this post, and the post below this.
Peejster is right, there will never be a boring moment in blockland. Especially because you make friends on this game. Having friends on this game makes it 20x better.

Tell them to read this.

Blockland, when paid for, has a limit of 256,000 bricks. The BIGGEST LEGO set, the Taj Mahal, has no more than 5922 pieces. You could build almost 43 of them in Blockland!
A typical LEGO brick is 1 cm tall. For Americans, that'd be about 0.4 inches. So, 256000 bricks stacked up could reach 100787.4 inches, which is 8400 feet, which is a little more than one and a half mile.
In addition, Blockland's $20 dollar fee is one-time, just like if you bought your son a video game.
Blockland also has hundreds of add-ons, ranging from virtual cities where you can make a living selling things, underground mines which go on forever (and I really do mean forever), horses and cows you can ride, and even a jeep that goes up walls!
You can even make music, shirts, and faces to put inside the game. There are always lots of people playing something, so there's never a boring moment in Blockland.

I don't understand what is going on here.

You're 13, you make your own money, your next door neighbor has a game you also want, and they won't let you buy it?

And you're too afraid to send it by mail because college kids will come ripping out of the ground and steal it?

This happened to me. I just begged until they couldnt stand it.  :cookieMonster:

Also, if you don't feel safe, show them videos of Blockland and how "parent-safe" it is.
Completely parent safe

I decided to show them the demo and they asked, "Do you really want to spend your money on this crap game?"

I told them that it is my money and I can spend it on what I want.  They do not think that video games are fun even though my dad programs some.  I do not want to pirate blockland, hack it, or use the offline method.  I guess they just don't care.

I decided to show them the demo and they asked, "Do you really want to spend your money on this crap game?"
If they said that, you should've punched them in the face.

No, really, what kind of redneck parents do you have?
