Tribal stage: I'm an RTS fan, so that's pretty cool
Civ stage: Bullstuff
Space stage: Pretty decent, never got around to conquering the galaxy though.

So have I, but Maxis claims Societies is as close as you'll get. I like SC4 but for me it's too damn hard to make stuff thrive without making your city suck ass.
