Know why action movies always have people dual-wielding pistols? Because it's badass as forget. Which would you rather watch: A movie about a guy that shoots one shot into a guy, or some over-the-top giant-ass actiony fight that has the main character pulling out an extra (INSERT POPULAR PISTOL) and doing a bunch of flips and dives and stuff? Movies are not real life, and the gunplay should only be realistic if it fits with the theme.

something about that "magnum" part. i think.

I don't remember every page of this thread:

Was cover ever addressed? It should definitely be put up in the OP. In many games and movies people can seemingly hide behind drywall and sheet metal (e.g. cars). Doing that in real life gets you shot up.

Oh yes, thanks for the reminder, I'm going to throw that in the OP.

This reminds me that I need to actually go read the Fantastic Firearms and the Weaboo Weaponry thread on Facepunch sometime.

I converted Weeaboo weapons thread to a word document and I have it bookmarked.

Rico in Just Cause 2 is more badass than the Arnold Schwarzenegger because he can dual wield grenade launchers.

Oh no, the new Call of Duty features Ballistic Knives and Crossbows, I fearfully await the new generation of misinformation.
