No, the HK94 is an old version of what is now the MP5. There ARE civilian MP5 variants, they're just semi-automatic.
Well that clears up the reason why it just looks old.

Okay, your point is to warn us right?

Did anyone mention how sometimes in movies someone will have a gun that typically holds like 8 bullets and they will shoot it 80 times without reloading?

Like matrix?

That's incorrect. The Armalite AR-15 was the PRECURSOR to the M16. Colt bought the AR-15 schematic and altered it, creating the military M-16. Since the remaining AR-15's are outdated and useless, they're out and about on the civilian market and in the hands of the IRA (it has no place in any funded military because it is prone to jamming and other issues as well, like I said; "outdated"). The AR-15 is not the civilian variant of the M-16.

The AR-15 is the precursor to the M16 but whenever I try to find out any information about a civilian version of the M16 I just get pointed back to the AR-15.

I have a redneck friend who modded an airsoft MP5 to be a full auto .22 lol
Alot of gun enthusiasts do this with airsoft guns, it's not really modding an airsoft gun though, they're just using the shell of the gun. It pisses me off when people say "you can mod an airsoft gun to shoot real bullets" because it's untrue.

There are no civilian M16's, those are strictly military.

I'm going to need more proof, the materials that are used for GOOD airsoft guns are made from pot metal which if you've welded pot metal before like me it melts at really low temperatures so it wouldn't shoot someone it'd shoot you.

In some cases it isn't even the cheap chinese pot metal clone guns, it's the even worse plastic guns.

3. was actually wrong believe it or not with some guns you have to rack it back instead of using the side lock

but YES with the Beretta the recoil leaves the side back and with the colt Don't remember about the glock

Ah you meant taking the parts out of a real gun and placing them in an airsoft stock, so basically overhauling. I was thinking that you just machine the parts inside of an airsoft gun.

I already said this, with single action pistols you're required to rooster back the slide the first time. Say the gun is empty and you put in a fresh mag after you hit the slide release, you need to rooster the slide back. HOWEVER, if the gun is empty and the slide locks back and you put in a new mag and then hit the slide release the first round will be loaded and you will be able to fire.

Did anyone mention how sometimes in movies someone will have a gun that typically holds like 8 bullets and they will shoot it 80 times without reloading?
That's because shooting 80 guys with one mag is badass is forget. Action movies don't need realistic gunplay.

I somewhat like the gunplay with things like punisher where they actually use their secondary and use it correctly. But the Punisher movies themselves are also very unrealistic with things like caving some dude's head in with one punch or shoving the barrel of the gun through the door and firing the grenade launcher.
