The Better Mod was around the same time as the original RTB was and was a complete overhaul of Vanilla Blockland (Blockland0002). RTB and TBM were about equal in standards to be frank, they both had good and bad points. Although, TBM users thought they were much better than RTB (I used TBM a few times, it did have a cleaner interface but it had more lag on servers). Then word spread that TBM could kill other mods such as RTB when run, and that TBM creators could get super admin on your servers with a console command.
TBM slowly lost popularity, more people in favour of RTB. When Badspot released Retail, alot of the TBM cigarettes hated it. The Orange Block (TOB) was the TBM cigarette's version of retail blockland that included another mod Death to Block and a few other features. It was supposed to compete with retail but it flopped. There's barely 6 servers at peak times.
tl;dr TOB is just TBM cigarette's way of competing with retail because they are richardcheeses.
