I just turn mine off every Wednesday before I go downstairs to have breakfast, then I come back upstairs, unplug it, re-tidy my cables (I keep forgetting to buy cable ties), open it up and dust out all the fans. 8am Wednesdays. I get it back online at roughly 8:20.

It also defrags during the night (it's always running) every night; changing this to be once weekly as well or one partition per night. I like to keep my computer tidy (I have a system/media volume, a files volume, a games volume and a webfiles volume for my local webserver on it :3)

I don't have an air can so I have to clean out each fan with a Que-tip, lol.

I just remove the fan itself from the casing and clean the casing and the fan blades with a fiber cloth.

I generate like a sandwich bag full of dust every week, my mum always looks at me weird when I come downstairs to put it in the bin. :cookieMonster:

Last time I cleaned my computer it had 4 crisps packets worth of dust in the fans alone.

The way my fan sits in the case is handicapped, You have to bend the case to get at the screws.
