Bisjac:

as terran i always;

- max SCV que, rally to crystals
- barracks
- bunker
- marines rally to bunker
*all these steps take no more then 3 minutes.

then just work on getting 2 full bunkers, while pumping out more and more scv workers.
once i got 2 full bunkers, i startup 2 more barracks, and get tons of heavy marine guys to guard base while i work on a vehicle army.

You only agreed that Starcraft is about rushing. I was saying that it's not fun, there's no super epic battle or anything. I don't even find it fun if I do it successfully, there's no real entertainment value, only winning. There was a comic that described this perfectly but I can't find it.

What I'm saying is that I'd rather have time to build up a MASSIVE army (opponent as well) so that we can have a huge awesome battle rather than OH BOY GOTTA HURRY.

I had to go help my clan host.

You know, I'd have played more than a hundred games at this point if it weren't for the fact that my internet stuffs itself every half hour.

I'll be playing a game, doing pretty well. Feeling confident because my teammate just rushed and took out an enemy. I'll probably be about 5 minutes into the game when my connection falters for a split second. It doesn't entirely disconnect, it just holds up for a second.

Suddenly, I'm disconnected from my chat room and I hold up everybody in the game with a "WAITING FOR SERVER" message. Not only is it terribly embarrassing, but I get disconnected from Battle.net because of that one-second holdup.

It counts as a loss. forget you, Blizzard.

I've done multiple virus scans and I've dusted out my internet cable outlets. I don't understand what could be causing this.
