Kalphiter - Hypocrisy, Irony, Blockland Cloud and Script Kiddie

I don't deny there being a lot work and complexity behind it. The positive attitude Kalphiter has for releasing BC varies the development, I do think it will eventually be released, but obviously as a very outdated version of RTB.
With the slow growing population and the rate at which RTB is being developed, I have changed my mind and agree that nobody will be stupid enough to compete... Would you allow a system to be released if it different to RTB and high in quality though?

Sure he can put it on his website, but I guess he'll resort to spamming servers to advertise it.

If another system was released which didn't duplicate any of RTB's community-facing functionality then I'd have no problem with it. The point at which something becomes an issue for me is when it begins to divide up an already pretty small community.

I completely agree with you, but we can't take BC as an example since we have no solid proof it was stolen until it is released. Sometimes I feel like Ephialtes is too proud about RTB. I feel this because while reading his comments and actions on the BC topic, I get the impression that he is trying to say "RTB is unbeatable, stop trying Kalphiter." He also mentioned in previous posts in this topic that he will disallow any competition. Of course, I might be wrong... Ephialtes did work hard on RTB and if Kalphiter did steal his code I can understand him acting that way.

All in all, RTB is a great add-on and has been there since the very early days of Blockland. Nobody would like it to be replaced anyways.

Forgive me if I rate my own competence above that of some 15 year old autistic kid who still goes to school.

granted im a RTB lover. i dont have a problem with this cloud thing existing, but i dont need 2 mod managers. :\
one would ban addons that the other didnt, meaning the rating and comment system would be different, and the community would be split for no reason.

all i really want is new content of good quality.     ; ;
but everyone is inclined to give more of the same.
