Maybe he is afraid the community will be full of "LOL snake" "thats what she said" "like your mom". Allowing profanity allows more immaturity.

Just because yours didn't care what you did or saw doesn't mean others don't

Wow.. anyway. Lets lay down some basic knowledge for you before you get the full version (YOU SHOULD!)
1. Swearing is completely and 100% Allowed. That's for loving god damn sure.
2. No nudity / gross stuff on the forums, yes the occasional richard in-game, other than that, no.
3. This game, if it were rated by the ESRB (which its not.) Would be rated T for Teen.
4. This game rocks, I'm 14 myself and i still somehow find this game really fun.
5. Just buy it.

You don't rate a game for it's community.
The game would definitely be rated E because there's no mature content included in the game.
