I think Blockland should just plain require internet activation. If you've already entered your key and you go offline, then you are fine, however if you haven't entered a key and you try to enter a key offline it won't work without internet activation.

i found this out before this but didn't want to risk getting banned

using a BL key just to play offline with unlimited bricks isn't even a good idea.
you can just download a mod to get rid of the max brick count in demo.

but there's nothing you can do for free multiplayer, which is the biggest non-demo feature of the game anyways.
