The reason for that is a bill passed by congress that makes it illegal for sites on the Internet to knowingly collect contact information for people under the age of 13 without the permission of their parents. It doesn't really have much to do with content being age appropriate.

That's a very appropriate suggestion.

...or it would be if Blockland really WAS directed towards "young kids". But it's not. It's for any age to join, no restrictions have been placed, and I like it that way. I could try and act like "it's better for the community to be able to release their stress..." and so on, but that's not it. I honestly just like being able to tell 7 year old pricks to forget off. :)

And in the mean time, you act like the word forget is a single word that must be banned against all others. I won't make a list or anything, but there's a lot of words that offend people a LOT more than the word forget. If you really feel like this is how Blockland needs to be, just put the filters on your own server, and leave it like that.
