Also, seeing as this whole thing is mostly because I need money, I have another question.
After completing "Unfriendly Competition" I have a 3k weapon, a 500 gold weapon, and a 1.5k ring.
I tried to sell these, but they go for horrible prices (3k -> 800 gold, 500 -> 30 gold, 1.5k -> 80 something.)
What are good places to sell these / how can I get better prices?

Haggle like hell, just loot a nearby cave for EVERYTHING and sell it, haggle for a higher price every so often you sell stuff.
