Downloading CS:S off of steam. Any tips?

I just bought Counter Strike Source off of steam, and it looks very fun, yet it looks like it has a learning curve. Does anyone have any tips for a new player like me? Also, inb4shootpeople and inb4shoothostages.

If you see enemies, be careful, they might shoot you. Try dodging behind cover, but be careful, crates can shatter. Your guns can shoot and kill, but be careful, they can run out of ammo, or not even do enough damage to kill your enemy before you can kill them. Grenades can help, but be careful, throwing them in tight rooms or at something nearby you can hurt or blind you. Buying guns can help you do better, but be careful, you might want to save some for body armor.

tip: This isn't halo, running out into the middle of a fight will get you killed. act as if you were going to fight in real life, guns do a lot of damage.

But be careful, mistaking this game for real life can have drastic consequences on both you and innocent people.
