Why do people consider non-baseplate builds spam?

From what I can tell, it saves bricks to use one for a floor instead of five plates to fill a floor. Besides, it looks better. How many professional Lego builds do you see that are not on a baseplate?

What if you saved it because there was another build on the server. Later that day, you load the thing you saved somewhere else. Now, you have the build you wanted and the spam, yet you forgot to save ownership, so all the bricks are yours. Or the save messed up, and some of the bricks are yours. Then you'd have to manually destroy each brick.

Also, you can build anything on a baseplate that you could on the ground. You just have to use your imagination. :o

That's your own fault, then. You forgot to load ownership when you should've.

If you were 16 such as I am, and had any sort of respectable schooling, you wouldn't talk/type like this.

Also, if you're 16, you need to mature past pretending to be a "vampire". You're loving 16, for goodness' sake. The real world has very little acceptance for mental flaws like that.

Imagination, yes.
Mental flaws, no.

I'm tempted to say "twilight cigarette".
