Why do people consider non-baseplate builds spam?

Sometimes it filters through. I have saves that, even when I load ownership, it's still mine. And when that does happens, having builds on baseplates are easier. In addition, what if someone does make a great build with no basplates, and someone else spams a hundred thousand 1x1 plates. An admin, without realizing that the good build wasn't on a baseplate, just uses the clear spam bricks. Both are gone.

Essentially, building on a baseplate only adds benefits for everyone, it doesn't inhibit ones ability to build.

I made someone get banned.
This is one of the most emotional moments in my forum career.
